Megora are an unsigned Power/Thrash Metal band from Basel-Country. They formed in 1990 and shortly after released two demos The Fog and Moonstill Waters. In 1994, still unsigned, they released their first and only full-length to date called Waiting, an enjoyable but very less known little record in the vein of Flotsam And Jetsam or Artillery. Until their split-up in 2000 they released two more demos and an EP called Illusions in 1997. Impressive is that this little EP has guest vocals from Mike Howe. Mike Howe? Yes, that Mike Howe, vocalist from Metal Church. Don't ask me how they could pursuade him to sing on their EP. Anyway, around 2009 they decided to reunite and added Sven Vormann on the drums. Interesting is that Sven played drums in Destruction from 1999 to 2001, and was part of their legendary comeback All Hell Breaks Loose.
